Overview
The Magento Gallery Module allows helps the frontend users of a Magento store to easily navigate and view image galleries using a lightbox effect. It has been designed for those stores wanting to easily add, remove and organise images on their stores. It’s ideal for Magento stores that desire to have alternative content on their website in an easy to update fashion. In order to manage your galleries all you need to do is login to the backend of Magento as an administrator, just as you would manage your products or categories.

The Magento Gallery Module allows the store owner to add multiple image galleries to their Magento store which can be viewed by users in the frontend. The extension is fully manageable from the Magento backend and allows shop owners to easily add/remove/edit galleries and images. One of the benefits is that it includes search engine friendly breadcrumb navigation of galleries and images.

Our Extension Details
Name : ECSSO Lightbox Gallery Module for Magento with Backend Management
Description :From the front end, a user will be able to view all the galleries listed. The ‘Gallery List’ page will have gallery name, main image and gallery description.
Clicking on a gallery will take the user to the ‘Gallery View’ page where all the images will be listed. The image name will be displayed above the image and the image description will be displayed just below the image. A back to gallery link will be displayed below the gallery.

Clicking an image will trigger the ‘lightbox’ view.

You can see the image name and total number of images below on the left bottom and a close button to the right bottom.
On backend, admin can add/edit/remove gallery and images.
To add to the gallery you just need to follow the following steps in Magento platform
Login to Magento Admin

- If you need to add a new gallery, click on “Add Item” or to edit a gallery, click on ‘edit’ on the particular gallery.

- Enter the relevant information and click on Save Item. The Gallery will be saved and the user can see it on the front end.
To add an image
- Go to Gallery -> Image
- Click on add item or click on edit if you need to edit an existing image
- Select the Gallery from the dropdown menu. The image you save will go to the particular gallery.
- Give the name, description and the sort order. The sort order is to sort all the images in a gallery. The image with sort order 0 will be listed first, 1 will be listed second and so on..
- Upload the image and click on save. You can now see the image in the gallery
