If the upgrade takes less than 3 hours of work to perform, and some additional services are required due to support requirement that arise as a result of the upgrade, we will credit the residual time in 'service time' to implement and address the required changes. If any additional work is required, it can be done at our normal hourly rate. If this is the case you will be advised prior to commencing the service and no additional fees will be charged unless we have your consent.

2. Customized Magento Upgrade Service: This is required when Magento Connect doesn’t work because of many reasons such as conflicts due to older versions of Magento and extensions, core code changes that have been made, server issues, etc... In such cases we resort to our Customized Magento Version Upgrade Services.

Please Note: This includes up to 8 hours of scheduled work. This is generally sufficient to complete the respective Customized Magento Upgrade Service, including required testing and possible trouble shooting. If any additional work is required, it can be done at our normal hourly rate. If this is the case you will be advised prior to commencing the service and no additional fees will be charged unless we have your consent.

Magento Upgrade Services Terms and Conditions

• This service covers version upgrades only. If you require installation services, please refer to our on-demand, Magento Installation Service Packages.
• If additional services or support are required in addition to the version upgrade service, as a result of the version upgrade, this can also be provided, but may incur an additional support fee (this includes configuration of any kind). As mentioned above, if any additional work is required it can be done at our normal hourly rate. If this is the case you will be advised prior to commencing the service and no additional fees will be charged unless we have your consent.
• We do not install or upgrade Magento Commerce on Windows and MAC servers.
• Our company shall not be held responsible for any errors which could occur during the upgrade process.
• We shall not take any responsibility in case of data loss, in cases where you have other tables in the database you want us to install Magento on, etc.
• We shall not be held responsible for any serious problems such as store function failure, performance or safety failure, etc.
• You are responsible for taking and keeping a back-up of your database and your entire Magento folder prior to upgrade.
